






On 11th June in the capital city Dhaka 10th International Food Safety Forum jointly organised by IFC and Bangladesh Food Safety Authority at pan Pacific Sonargoan hotel. One third of our food is being waste mentioned by IFC Unesco and WHO experts in the forum.

Paralally Bangladesh also have a loss and waste of 40% food of total production due to inappropriate knowledge of Storage, Transportation, Temperature and Humid conditions of our climate.
Implementation of latest technology and technical education to farmers and route level and awareness build up can reduce this loss mentioned by the Analyst Khandke Raqibul Islam -Secretary General FEAB Foundation.

A team of 10members of FEAB Foundation attended the Forum full day to observe the initiative taken by the Govt. and private sectors stakeholders.
FEAB Foundation is working to explore their knowledge to route level by developing the skills of fresh graduates and Diploma engineers running students at Polytechnic Institute. FEAB signed MOU with Govt. Narsingdi Polytechnic Institute to improve the education system. It mentionae most of the vegetables are grown in this District those are supplied to Dhaka Metropolitan area. So FEAB will build awareness and develop skill and knowledge of local farmers, stakeholders to reduce the loss and waste of fruits and vegetables.
Also they will processed the fruits and vegetables under cold Chain business for export these products to USA, Europe and Asian markets.
