Session on Fruits and Vegetables

To reduce the post-harvest losses of fruit vegetables and perishables products in Bangladesh USDA jointly organized a international cold chain conference with Technology Creators, Stakeholders, Consulting firms and infrastructure development organizations at Capital city Dhaka in Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on 1st June 2023. On 30th May they organized the Inauguration session cum Networking session & Buffet dinner at the same venue.

Managing Director of Chashi Cold Storage (Pvt) Ltd Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu the president of Bangladesh Cold Storage Association (BSCA) was chief guest of the Conference.

Bashundhara Group’s Senior Advisor & Head of Research Team Mr. Rashidhi, Khandker Rajon Ex DGM Bashundhara Group met with the USDA experts team at the corporate office. Discussed different technological gaps, business and market development opportunities locally as well as Globally by product diversification by value addition.

Khandker Rajon now working as Adviser & CEO of Khalil Group Incorporated in USA that showed their interest to work for Cold chain development country-wide. He has met with USDA Cold chain experts team at their Gulshan-2 office afterward the conference.

Khandker Rajon’s Analysis at IFC conference how to reduce food loss

Khandker Rajon Secretary General take an initiative to reduce this food loss through SOE-School of Engineering a Concern of FEAB Foundation formed with All Top level organisation’s Experts team. SOE will spread their knowledge to route level farmers/distributors/transporters to make them aware on latest technologies and innovation. before that SOE is started building a technical team countrywide those are studying in food engineering in Universities and Polytechnic Institutes.
